Evaluate efficiency as a design decision.

We plan to assess energy performance alongside workload requirements and infrastructure resilience. Potential lower-carbon electricity options will need to be evaluated against local availability, feasibility and credible procurement arrangements.

Understand the local resource context.

Cooling choices should reflect both technical requirements and local resource conditions. Our intention is to evaluate water use and energy use together, recognising that design choices involve trade-offs.

Look beyond the server hall.

Our planned evaluation includes the implications of construction, material choices, site conditions and long-term maintainability. Engagement with relevant stakeholders should help identify concerns early.

Measure before making claims.

Project-specific targets, methods and reporting will be developed as designs mature. We are not currently publishing achieved efficiency metrics, renewable-energy percentages, certifications or net-zero claims.
